The Breakfast Club

Meet Mark, Blake, Pam & Cathi:

Mark Bingaman

Twenty-seven  years in Central Ohio radio. My, how time flies.

On two separate occasions, from 1997 to 2000 – and again from 2003 through 2006 – Mark served as the full-time, weekday, afternoon drive host on Sunny 95 in Columbus.

You may recall him by his on-air pseudonym of “Geronimo” in the late ’80’s on the legendary 92X and again from 1990 to 1993 on the former HOT 105, WWHT.

Mark has spent the last few years working social media and internet marketing.

But, radio called and he’s back as host of the Mid-Ohio Breakfast Club, super-serving our listeners across Delaware and Union counties, the Northern Franklin county suburbs, and into Knox, Marion, and Morrow counties.

Blake Summers

Blake was born and raised in Delaware, Oh.  At age 25, He decided to run away to the big city: Powell, Oh.

Blake began working in local TV news in 2011 in Columbus as an intern on morning and afternoon shows before getting the opportunity to co-host a friends radio show and fell instantly in love with radio.

Along with radio, another passion of his is working, since 2012, in the special needs community in Delaware County

Never one to sit still, he’s constantly doing something – He loves camping, fishing, hiking, riding his motorcycle and kayaking as much as possible.

has been in radio off-and-on since 1989 when she filled in for her dad, a Columbus Police Officer, by doing on-air traffic on FM100.

It wasn’t her first choice. She wanted to follow her dad’s footsteps and become a police officer.  Fate had another plan.

For 10 years, she flew in Yellow Thunder, a familiar traffic copter in Columbus, while also working overnites on WSNY Sunny 95.

In 2000 tragedy struck and Cathi was involved in a fatal accident that ended her career. Or so she thought.

A year ago, Cathi was offered the opportunity to return to radio —and join Mid-Ohio’s Breakfast Club with Mark and Blake.  As Cathi says, “I continue to have pain every day, but who cares? I’m able to work again!”

She now works as much as her body allows — and central Ohio is the better for it!

Pam Spencer
Mid Ohio native Pam Spencer has over thirty five years in radio broadcasting.  She was a traffic reporter for eighteen years.

Most of those years with 610 WTVN included flying over central Ohio with her eyes on the roadways for ten years.

On Fridays the Mid Ohio Breakfast Club features “Pam’s Jams” a local band breakdown of live music in the area.

Pam’s favorite sport is Hockey and she really enjoys going to the Columbus Blue Jackets games.

You can hear Pam and Mark Bingaman talk Hockey, and Pam will have your Mid Ohio News weekday mornings on the Mid Ohio Breakfast Club.
