1550 WDLR-AM is now giving high school, college and adult learners an opportunity to be a part of the inner workings of our community radio station! You can have direct exposure to the promotions, programming and sales departments!

We’re looking for enthusiastic, outgoing and hard-working people who enjoy radio and are good at interacting with all types of people!

Our interns are expected to work from 12-15 hours per week. Community volunteers are needed as well.

  1. Mr. Shaffer, I am contacting you in regards to an internship. I have read that you request a cover letter and resume to the above listed address. However, prior to doing so, I seek clarification on this matter. I am not currently a student at any university or trade school. Is it still possible to obtain an internship? I did attend the Ohio Center for Broadcasting several years ago. There I interned at another radio station. After graduating from OCB, I was not very persistent in obtaining employment in the field. Now, it feels like it has been too long to just jump back in. I am looking for a place to start. Any information you could provide to me would be greatly appreciated.
